Description:
CLOUDLAYER8 LTD is looking to recruit a NOC engineer for full time employment in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
Monitor the Company’s networks and services from NOC (Network Operations Center), using the network tools and systems
Ensure standard operating procedures are maintained and executed
Analyze alarms and trouble indicators to identify problem areas and escalate to appropriate parties
Perform ticket management and assignment based upon urgency and issue
Carry-out fast and efficient 1st level troubleshooting when issues are encountered
Data center tasks including racking, cabling, etc.
Requirements:
University/Associate Degree in Computer Science or in a related field
Basic Networking knowledge
Basic Knowledge of MS Windows
Fluency in Greek and English (written & spoken)
Excellent customer service skills.
Availability to work in a 24/7 NOC shifts rotation schedule
The following will be considered as plus:
Good understanding and experience with Linux/Unix platform system administration
Good understanding of DNS concepts
