Position: Junior BI (Business Intelligence) Developer
Department: I.T. Services
Reports To: Head of Business Intelligence
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Translate business needs to technical specifications
Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
Take part in analysing, designing, and developing data warehousing approaches and data architectures
Analyses data from various sources, including databases and flat files
Maintain and support data analytics platforms
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
Integrity of data, on-time loading to data warehouses and on-time report availability
Develop and update technical documentation
Maintenance of change requests, bugs, issues and version control
Carries out any further duties assigned by their line manager
Contributes to a positive and dynamic working environment
REQUIREMENTS
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS) or relevant
field
Knowledge of SQL queries
Experience in any of the following BI technologies will be consider an advantage: Microsoft SQL Server,
Microsoft Visual Studio Data Tools, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft Reporting Services
(SSRS), OLAP technologies, Power BI and Oracle BI (OBIEE)
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude with an attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Experience in FX, gaming or similar would be an advantage.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly collaborative and team-minded, with the ability to provide creative insight to drive better
outcomes for the business, required
Demonstrate a sense of urgency
