Key responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, managing key client relationships, recommending systems tailored to customer needs and overseeing the sales team’s performance. You will play a key role in driving sales growth while ensuring customer satisfaction. The key responsibilities of this role are the following:
- Lead and manage the sales team, setting targets and ensuring performance goals are met.
- Promote the company’s security solutions to new and existing customers.
- Identify and engage potential clients, presenting tailored security solutions.
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and recommend suitable systems.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities.
- Monitor competitors and provide insights to the Managing Director.
- Prepare and follow up on tenders, sales orders, and pricing policies.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Participate in promotional and marketing events.
- Implement customer service policies to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve sales strategies.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- University degree in Business / Marketing.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a sales role within a large organization.
- Prior experience in customer service.
Additional skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, AutoCAD)
- Database structure knowledge for proprietary software
- Internet capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
