Pharmaceutical Representative

 CPO, The Costas Papaellinas Group of Companies seeks to recruit a dynamic and experienced person for the position of Pharmaceutical Representative to provide coverage in pharmacies in all cities, based in Nicosia.

 

JOB PURPOSE

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and promotion of the assigned brands to HCP (pharmacists/doctors) through face to face calls, group presentations and other customer facing activities, as per established company strategy and given instructions, in order to ensure that brand and overall business objectives are achieved.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Activities:

  • Consistently achieve sales objectives (units, value, MS) of the promoted product portfolio, in his/her area.
  • Ensure agreed call frequency rate of targeted pharmacists, keeping in mind that the number of calls per pharmacists are subject to changeset according to the company marketing strategy.
  • Constantly update the customer data base of his/her region to improve the segmentation and targeting process, enhance call productivity and optimize sales return by targeted pharmacists.
  • Present the features and benefits of product to educate and win HCP (Pharmacists & Doctors) support to recommend a product to their patients and customers.
  • Implements and develop the merchandising account standards; Assures the promotional layout in the pharmacies according to Product Manager recommendation.
  • Develop and maintain privileged contacts and relationships with KOLs, decision makers, and pharmacists.
  • Identify accurately the customers sales potential in his/her area.
  • Effectively manage the assigned territory by means of planning (territory KPIs, analysis, resources allocation, call planning) plan visits for each working day with the objectives of the visit.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University or College Degree in a Business-Related Area or Life Science.
  • Sales experience in OTC pharma business, pharmacy sales and medical detailing in doctors is an advantage.
  • Knowledge: sales techniques, pharmaceutical industry, product, competitive intelligence.
  • Skills: presentation, influence/negotiation, KOL development, time-management.
  • Characteristics: teamwork, prospective vision, initiative, creativity, and innovation.
  • Demonstrates capacity to learn and understand the pharmaceutical market.
  • Demonstrates willingness and capability to cooperate well with colleagues in Sales, Medical, Marketing, Regulatory and other relevant departments.
  • Highly focused and drives to set for him/herself ambitious objectives.
  • Capacity to judge his/her competency and able to change.
